The Brief
For this project, the client needed a few new variations of their primary logo to mark their 10th anniversary as a company. It was important that these new variations not alter the existing logo in any meaningful way and continue to use the existing design language associated with their brand.
We began by examining their existing brand, noting their existing placement of a tagline beneath the logo, the unique word mark font, and their color scheme.

A sample design from Albumii's pre-existing brand guidelines.
The Results
Variation #1
We opted to create two variations of the celebratory logo. First, we kept the original logo intact, replacing their marketing slogan with a tagline recognizing the anniversary. This allowed for a version that didn't require rethinking sizing or placement while implementing on existing assets.

Variation #2
For the second variation, we created a sleeker look by adding a "10" to the end of the logo. This version required building custom characters that better matched the logo as opposed to the oldstyle numerals included in the word mark font. The result is a clean variation that acknowledges the anniversary.
