About Me.
I'm a (mostly) self-taught graphic and interface designer currently living in New York City. This page is a little bit about my professional experience and life story.
My Story.
Born and raised in Southwest Minnesota, I grew up in a family business where I started my design career in high school by contributing my creative skills to small marketing projects. By graduation, I was working part-time at the business as our staff designer, responsible for all the organization's design needs.
I moved to New York City to pursue my college degree while I continued in my role at the business, working remotely. After two-and-a-half years in New York, I graduated from Fordham University with a bachelor's degree in economics; an education that powerfully compliments my creative skill with pragmatic business knowledge.
When I'm not designing, I'm seeking inspiration while exploring the orchestras, theaters, art museums and architecture that New York has to offer.
